Leveraging more than a decade of experience across corporate law, private equity, and regulatory compliance, Wasif oversees the seamless integration of legal resources, document management systems, and process efficiencies that enable the firm to deliver sophisticated, client-focused solutions.
Before joining Aubrey Payton, Wasif served as Senior Corporate Counsel for the Pakistan office of a private equity firm, where he advised executive leadership on corporate governance, complex contract negotiations, and cross-border regulatory frameworks. Earlier in his career, he practiced at several prominent law firms in Pakistan, gaining extensive experience in corporate transactions, commercial litigation, and tax advisory matters.
Wasif’s multidisciplinary background—spanning law, commerce, and accounting—positions him as a critical partner in aligning the firm’s legal strategies with its operational objectives. He works closely with attorneys and senior leadership to ensure that compliance, risk management, and client service operate at the highest professional standards.
