Ben is a law clerk with experience in merger and acquisition transactions, investment fund formations, securities compliance, and corporate governance. He advises clients on a wide range of complex business transactions, entity structuring, and regulatory compliance, bringing a strategic and solutions-oriented approach tailored to their needs. Before joining Aubrey Payton, Ben served as Associate Counsel to a private equity firm, where he focused his practice primarily on corporate restructurings, exempt security offerings, and contract negotiations and drafting. In that role, he was responsible for providing the fund managers with comprehensive legal guidance on a broad range of business and regulatory issues.
